When to Take Vitamins and Supplements ? Dr. Berg.
In this video, Dr. Berg talks about when to take vitamins and supplements. Taking supplements doesn’t affect ketosis and it is not going to break intermittent fasting. • Vitamin B Complex or Vitamin C: Take any time (except vitamin b1 or benfotiamine, you must take it with food or fat to help it be absorbed.) • Fat-Soluble Vitamins (vitamin A, D, E, K, K2): Better digested with Food / Fat • D3 and K2: Don’t take dairy with it. • Stomach Acid Supplements and Enzymes: Take before the meal • Purified Bile Salts (Gallbladder Support): Take it after your meal • Greens Product: Take it with a meal or with bulletproof coffee • Herbs and Tea: Anytime • Electrolytes and EDTA, IP6 or Chelators: Empty Stomach • Calcium: Take it right before you go to bed. • Probiotics: Right before you go to bed Talk to a Product Advisor to find the best product for you! Call 1-540-299-1556 with your questions about Dr. Berg's products. Thank you for this video! I was looking for this kind of explanation everywhere!
Dr. Berg is the best. He is honest and his advice reallly works. I wish I had known about this channel before my close relative died from diabetes. I could never understand insulin resistance until I discovered Dr. Berg. Now, I’m on a Keto diet and losing 1 pound a day. Feeling great!!!
Dr. Berg, I’d be really interested to know, if you are eating an essentially perfect diet, what supplements do you still consider necessary for anyone? Or can supplements be entirely optional? Thanks!
Его перевод на русском–это супер! Как будто бы он сам обращается к нам по русски!
This is a great start. I have a ton of vitamins & supplements that I don’t know when to take, so I just split them up between morning and bedtime. I have a pill organizer for AM and PM. I can’t handle having more than that as I often forget. In the morning, I take an adult multi-vitamin (which I don’t know if these are just a waste of time), a Vitamin B complex, a D3, a glucosamine-chondroitin pill, zinc, hyaluronic acid, CLA, collagen, a turmeric-Boswell is blend, and 500 mg of calcium. At night, I take my prescription meds, plus all of the morning supplements except the muti-vitamin, B-complex, and zinc. Now, after watching this, I know that my D3 and calcium in the morning are just cancelling each other out. I would appreciate a more detailed video or cheat sheet of all vitamin and minerals, when to take them, with what/how to take them with (empty stomach, with water, with fat, etc) and with what not to take them with. Thank you for all your great videos!!! 😃
I was taking them all wrong too apparently. I too wish there was a cheat sheet.
Did you replace your food with supplements
@BetterBees No, I didn’t. It may seem that way, but I have a lot of problems with bone-on-bone in my knee and take supplements like the glucosamine-chondroitin, hyaluronic acid, and turmeric to help with inflamation. I also eat foods that help with inflamation, but diet alone isn’t helping, thus the supplements. Thanks for your concern.
Do you have any room left for food?? 😆😆😆. Jk
@Vanessa B I know, right!?!?!? LOL!
Thanks, Dr. Berg, but we need a video explaining:
1. which vitamins and minerals supplements are best taken together vs. alone
2. WHAT FOOD ITEMS TO EAT THOSE SUPPLEMENTS WITH FOR MAXIMAL ABSORPTION?
3. And what time of day to eat them (morning evening before or after a meal, etc)
That would be the Ultimate video and would garner a lot of views, likes and new subribers!!!!!
Yes 👍 👍 I agree!!
Dr Berg you are keeping me alive literally! You are an angel among us. My family and I are taking many of your products and have been for a long time. Thank you! I have no words……Thank you. We so love you!
I love this guy, he doesn’t just say what to do, he explains why too!
If you liked this video, you may also want to know that probiotics are microorganisms that are shown to provide a health benefit to the host, when provided in adequate amounts. So dosage is important!
Thank you Dr. Berg, this info is very helpful. Taking supplements requires awareness, just like selection of what foods I eat. You make a very complex subject; diet-nutrition, easy to integrate and apply.
How can someone not like Dr. Berg? He’s amazing. Literally saving my life
@Ribbie you sound so lonely. I will pray for you that you find people you like that aren’t idiots.
all I do all day is watch his videos. it’s 1 on 1 learning
@ErikV300 Your soul is eternal and in need for salvation. One sin is enough to send anyone to hell for all eternity. You must trust the blood that Christ Jesus shed on the cross as He died for our sins. It’s by grace through faith that we gain access to Heaven, not of our own works. Our own works are like filthy rags in the eyes of the Lord.
@M Kovis Blah blah blah, no matter how many times anyone says it, it doesn’t make it true. Stop being brainwashed.
Dr Berg, I have lost about 82 lbs since going on Keto. I have followed your recommendations and I was able to lose weight, get to normal blood sugar levels (no longer diabetic) and have started to clean my liver. I am currently 40 years old and have just been notified I’m pregnant with my second child. My question is, how can I continue being on Keto and allow my pregnancy to progress?
Dr. BERG . It’s good to know I can take B/C vitamins anytime. Just like your videos that can be watched anytime of the day. Thanks for all your hard work.
I just realized that my kidney stone doctor has less of a clue than I did before watching this video. He really didn’t know what the cause or cure was. Thank you for this video. 🙏🏽🕉
Thank you, Dr. Berg! Your videos are so helpful! I really appreciate how you clarify things. Thank you so much.
Dr your frequent videos keeps us motivated and help us stay healthy.
Stanley13 most of the so called doctors don’t know how to treat the root cause. They simply treat by suppressing symptoms when the body is telling you a problem somewhere else.
Hell yeah! They do
Completely agreed
Definitely agreed….i used to be unhealthy & not care bout anything until I found this channel
Dr. Berg, I’m starting to believe you not also have the power to help people get healthy again. But to READ people’s minds as well. I have been wondering when to take my supplements and I wake up to this video. Thank you for all you do!
It’s called advertising.

As always Dr Berg great info. I take cod liver oil or mct in the am with fat soluble vitamins so I don’t have to break fast and herbs mostly with foods cause they often make me queasy on empty stomach. Seems to work. Thanks
Yessssss!!!! I’ve been waiting for this!!!!THANK YOU sooooo much Dr Berg you’re always know what what the universe need ❤️❤️❤️
Lol
Thanks Dr Berg! You’ve inspired me to stick to a Keto lifestyle and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done!
But on the other hand one of the best sources of potassium is sweet potato and that can’t be allowed! Yet Dr Berg has said potassium is important and people dont get enough, and another thing; about the nuts and the omega-6 in another video, i havent seen him talk about these differences
“The best thing I’ve ever done”
… in your whole life?
@ DavidsonLoops did he use those words not allowed? Or was he comparing sweet potato to a regular potato?
